With the stresses and pressures of everyday life, it is only natural that people gather tension, especially in their shoulders, neck and back area. In my treatments I work directly on these areas, helping to untangle all the nasty knots that gather due to occupational hazards such as driving, computer work, manual lifting, etc and as a result it allows the client to unwind.

I use specific Aromatherapy essential oils for each individual client depending on their needs or requirements.  I advise the client on the oils that would be suitable for them to use in aftercare also.

Some areas that I work on and the results that I have seen include:

  • Lymph Drainage, which refers to working with lymph nodes to help rid toxins
  • Effleurage, which involves deep and long massage strokes
  • Promotes relaxation
  • Helps to reduce anxiety and stress
  • Relieves muscle tension
  • Promote body and mind balance
  • Helps to reduce pain


What to expect from a treatment

  • A full medical history will be taken.
  • An individual treatment will be given to each client, depending on his or her own specific needs and requirements.
  • The session will last 1-hour approximately.
  • An individual aftercare plan will be given to each client depending on the findings in the session.
  • A Massage treatment costs £35

Client response

When I went for Massage Therapy with Sal I was treated in a very individual way.  My specific needs were assessed, a full medical history was taken and certain aromatherapy oils were used to tailor my requirements.  I had been extremely stressed in my job and was spending long hours in front of a computer.

The massage techniques, which Sal used allowed her to get to the exact point of tension and it left me feeling totally relaxed and able to unwind and cope with the stress easier.  She applied gentle swaying motions and deep tissue massage, which, I feel helped me to feel balanced and calm.
